Welcome

Hi!We Are DarKei (Dar & Keith)

DarKei (Darlene & Keith)

(Keith), I am a veteran who proudly served in the United States Army back in the late 70’s. Only doing one tour during the Cold War in two locations in Germany. My first assignment was with the 164th Military Police Company at Miesau Army Depot in Miesau Germany. GO TOWER RATS!!! My second assignment was at O’Brien Barracks in Schwalbach Germany about 14 clicks (9.3 miles) from Nurnberg which was what we called Whitehat duty or patrol duty. I met a lot of people and many of them became friends during my time. This assignment allowed me to get out into the public’s eye and work with the Polizei. After leaving the military I returned home where I did some factory work for a couple of years. I became a volunteer for an Emergency Squad, later becoming an EMT in my home state of New York. During this time, I also became involved in the transportation industry and started a career as an over the road truck driver. A few years in and I became an Owner Operator. After 10 years of owning my own business, and a drug addiction, I got out, spent 13 years doing factory work in a papermill in Upstate NY. If it wasn’t for this woman standing next to me in the photo above, I don’t know where I would be today. But there is one thing I can share with you. I am drug free, cigarette free (after 35 years) and alcohol free. There is so much more to this story but I will spare you the sob story. It’s time for me to live my life to the best of my ability and share it with those who choose to follow. (Darlene), in her words is just your everyday person and has nothing to write about herself, (BORING, not at all) believe me I tried! She is and has been a Corrections Officer in Upstate NY for the last 15 years and BOY, I can’t wait until this ride is over. LOL. The stories I hear on the daily. All kidding aside, we met in April of 2006 through a dating site of all places. WINK It was on October 5th of that year we entered into a a relationship ( it's been 18 years) and never looked back. Like all relationships, we have had a few moments but who doesn’t. It’s been a great ride and, in her words, she wouldn’t change a thing. With all that being said, we enjoy traveling & riding our ATV’S. Every trip is an adventure and we decided that we wanted to share this experience with those who wish to follow. Thank you for stopping by our page, hope you enjoy our content and support our journey. Life is to short to sweat the small stuff.
